The remaining capacity calculation provides insight into the maximum still connectable PV or load per node.
For this purpose, several network load calculations are done: one of the current situation and several in which the test element with varying power is added. In all network load calculations, the evening and afternoon situations are calculated.
The change in load rate or voltage is calculated for each object. Only deterioration is considered, in order to ignore already existing overshoot far from the respective node.
Deterioration is:
•U,after greater than 1.005*U,before
•U,after less than 0.995*U,before
•dU,after greater than 1.05*dU,before
•load rate,after greater than 1.02*load rate,before
Calculation
Select the nodes to be calculated.
Start the calculation with Calculate | Special | Remaining capacity.
The calculations for PV and load are performed separately. The combination is not calculated.
The tested power ranges from 0 to 10 MW. First in steps of 1 MW, then further in steps of 0.1 MW.
Results
Results are per node:
•Premaining,PV
•Premaining,load
The options for viewing the results are:

Scheme
For nodes, the two lines are the remaining powers of PV and load.
The color of the nodes has a meaning after performing a calculation. The colors can be set in the Options with Calculation | General. The limits can be set in Calculation | Limits. The default color is shown in parentheses below.
Nodes
•Standard (black): no particulars
•Too high color (red): the PV or load yet to be connected is less than or equal to 0.1 MW.
•Much too high color (dark red): the PV and load yet to be connected are both less than or equal to 0.1 MW.
•Island color (green): no voltage
